Tips for finding more words

How do I unscramble letters?
Type your letters in the box at the top. Every word those letters can make appears instantly, grouped by length with the longest words first. You do not have to use every letter.
How do blank tiles work?
Type a question mark for each blank tile. A blank can stand for any letter. In the results, letters that come from a blank are underlined so you can see which tile to play.
Which words are included?
The unscrambler uses the ENABLE word list, a public domain list of about 168,000 English words used by many word games. Offensive words and slurs have been removed. Some newer Scrabble words, such as QI and ZA, are not in ENABLE.
Why do some words have a darker border?
Common everyday words get a darker border and are listed first in each group. Rarer words follow, so the answer you are looking for is usually near the top.
Can I search for words that start or end with certain letters?
Yes. Open Filters to limit results to words that start with, end with, or contain certain letters, or to a single word length.
Is this unscrambler free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser. The letters you type are not sent to our server.
